Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Summit Verification (the “Service”) processes information when you link a Roblox account to a Discord account.
1. Information we collect
The Service may process and store:
- Your Discord user ID and the ID of the Discord server where verification took place.
- Your Roblox user ID, username, and display name.
- Your public membership and role information for the Roblox group configured by the Discord server administrator.
- Technical security information, such as temporary OAuth state values, timestamps, and limited server logs needed to operate and protect the Service.
The Service does not request or store your Roblox password. Roblox access tokens are used only to complete verification and are not intentionally stored in the Service database.
2. How we use information
Information is used to:
- Confirm that you control the Roblox account you choose to link.
- Prevent the same Roblox account from being linked to multiple Discord accounts in the same server.
- Add, remove, or update Discord roles according to configured verification and group-role rules.
- Maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and operate the Service.
3. Consent
You choose to start verification and authorize access through Roblox OAuth. You may cancel the authorization process before completion.
The Service processes the minimum information reasonably required to provide account linking and role synchronization.
4. Sharing of information
The Service does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed through Roblox and Discord as required to provide verification and role synchronization.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate misuse of the Service.
5. Data retention
Linked account records are generally kept until:
-
You use the Discord
/unlinkcommand. - A server administrator removes the configuration or data.
- The Service is discontinued.
- Retention is no longer necessary.
Temporary OAuth state records expire automatically and are deleted after use or expiration.
Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
6. Your choices and rights
You can unlink your Roblox account from your Discord account
using the /unlink command when it is available in
the relevant Discord server.
You may also contact the Service operator to request access, correction, or deletion of stored information, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.
7. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored information, including:
- HTTPS encryption.
- Restricted server access.
- Temporary single-use OAuth states.
- Database access controls.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children and younger users
The Service is intended only for users who are permitted to use Roblox and Discord under those platforms' rules and applicable law.
Where parental or guardian consent is required, the user is responsible for obtaining it before using the Service.
9. Third-party services
Roblox and Discord operate independently and maintain their own privacy policies and terms.
This policy does not control how those companies process information.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the Service changes or when legal or security requirements change.
The “Last updated” date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests: Contact the administrator of the Discord server where you use the service.
